My earliest project for design studio was the ubiquitous bus shelter. My studio instructor challenged me to make this project “all about the floor,” which I proceeded to do with extreme prejudice. The result was both theatrical and naïve, and eventually required some gymnastics in order to produce the exploded construction axonometric for a related structures assignment.
