The plans also exist as documentation of the events that take place in the sections. They test the feasibility of the notions the earlier drawings present: How does the brewery sit on the site? Can conditioning tanks be positioned to allow for both seating and egress? How large is the courtyard?
Additional information is embedded in the plans, where graphite and eraser marks belie the areas where the most changes—and by extension, the most effort—have taken place.
